As a Facilities Co-Ordinator your working hours and days are:

  • Monday- Friday
  • Varied working hours (37.5 hours per week)

The rate of pay as a Facilities Co-Ordinator is:

  • £14.00 p/h

The duties and responsibilities as a Facilities Co-Ordinator are:

  • Engage with colleagues at all levels
  • Be the first point of call for any maintenance issues that arise
  • Handle any maintenance emergencies, such as boiler breakdowns, ensuring they are reported and contractors are contacted to organize repairs
  • Service water bottle stations
  • Conduct daily walk-arounds of the office and grounds to identify slip and trip hazards
  • Meet contractors when planned and show them the area
  • Check that first aid supplies are stocked
  • If planned work is taking place, assist with sorting equipment and disposing of anything broken

The ideal candidate for a Facilities Co-Ordinator would need:

  • To work under their own initiative
  • To be physically fit, as some heavy lifting is involved
  • Basic DIY skills for small repairs and maintenance
  • Previous experience as a Facilities Co-Ordinator
  • Ability to work well individually or in a team environment
  • To be calm and level-headed, as there may be instances of equipment breaking or needing repair
