Construction Project Engineer

Site Engineer - ESD
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Engineer to join Galliford Try’s Environment Business, working on our Scottish Water Frameworks in our Joint Venture, ESD . The Site Engineer will work initially on the Black Esk Water Treatment project with Scottish Water in the Lockerbie area and other locations across the Scottish Borders.
Promote exceptional safety and deliver quality standards at all time
Co-ordinate and control construction activities ensuring the project runs to schedule and budget
Day to Day management of site activities, including supervising and monitoring the site operations and carrying out briefings as necessary, preparing RAMS and ensuring compliance
Ensuring that activities are planned, organised and monitored to ensure safety, time constraints and quality requirements are met.
Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role
HND or equivalent in engineering/project management related qualification
Experience of the construction/engineering industry, ideally in the water industry
IOSH or SMSTS Safety Management
