Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Architect with a deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , cloud migration , and Terraform to join our team in the financial services sector. This role will involve architecting and leading the migration of on-premise applications and infrastructure to the cloud, specifically focusing on GCP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application development and cloud architecture, with a proven track record of designing and delivering cloud solutions.

Requirement:

  • Extensive experience in cloud architecture, specifically with GCP, and a strong background in application development.
  • Experience in creating end-to-end platform architecture and prototypes in GCP using architecture frameworks
  • Technical experience in: IaaS, PaaS, Software design & development, Application Design, Virtualization, IP Networking, Storage, Security, Continuous Build & Deployment automation, Infrastructure as Code.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale cloud migration projects from on-premise to cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native architectures. Familiarity with tools such as Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, and Vault.
  • Strong experience in software design and development, with a deep understanding of microservices, APIs, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and lead the migration of on-premise applications and infrastructure to GCP, ensuring seamless transition and minimal downtime.
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures on GCP, leveraging Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Collaborate closely with senior executives, technical stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver tailored cloud solutions.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, including code reviews, design reviews, and best practices in cloud architecture.
  • Ensure that all cloud solutions meet the highest standards of security, compliance, and governance as per industry regulations.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of cloud solutions.
