Property Manager

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK resident residing within commutable distance to York . Please note that we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, tenants and contractors, providing feedback and emergency cover.
- Organise and carry out internal property inspections and send reports to landlord within a certain timescale, ensuring you follow standardised checkout procedures.
- Organise and manage gas safety maintenance files, ensuring certificates are renewed and logged on internal systems.
- Supervise the whole process of managing property maintenance, from advising landlords on amendments of highlighted issues, organising repairs and completing work orders, whilst keeping your line manager continuously updated.
- Organise inventories to be ready 24 hours before move-in, ensuring all documentation is signed and returned to tenants within the agreed timeframe.
- Authorise and send invoices into software systems for payment.
- Manage the daily administrative systems and procedures, ensuring all admin is completed to the highest standard.
- Oversee responsibilities, operating within an approved budget and company policies.
- Develop relationships with contractors, confirming they have all signed policy documents and have appropriate insurance.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Solid customer facing employment experience both via telephone and email.
- Clear verbal and written communication, with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organisation and time management, with the ability to meet deadlines within the company’s Principal Measures (KPI’s).
- Full, clean UK Driver’s licence, with access to own car (to carry out regular inspections.)
