Electrician - Nights (Permanent)

Following our recent success and strong order book with our key client Southern Water, RSE are delighted to welcome applications for Electricians to join our Asset Management & Technical Services division on a permanent basis. You will be joining a team that is experienced, working on Southern Water projects across the region. Your role will involve all aspects of maintenance tasks.

Install cable containment systems to a high standard safely

Install, gland, terminate cable systems mainly used in the industrial sector to BS 7671 and supplied drawings

Install electrical equipment to BS 7671 and manufacturer’s instructions

Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of system

Work at height to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures (using appropriate safety equipment and adhering to safe working procedures)

Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes

Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and standards

Fully qualified electrician with skill in the installation, repair and maintenance of all types of electrical equipment and components

ECS Grading Card - must be current/in date (BS 7671 Training, Approved Health and Safety Assessment)

Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade

Knowledge of applicable electrical standards and regulations

Water industry experience would be highly advantageous, but other sectors such as heavy industry will also be considered

Full UK Driving Licence.
