We maintainand optimize technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. We are looking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to join ourteam as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager. The ReliabilityMaintenance Engineering Area Manager is the line manager for a team ofengineering technicians. They maintain the focus on safety by training,developing and coaching their team. They deliver a high level of equipmentavailability by ensuring all preventative maintenance is conducted andinternal processes and procedures are followed.Key job responsibilitiesLead, support and mentor the team, ensuring they are working in a safe,standard and efficient manner.· Work with the team and the wider network to harness the technical expertiseavailable and build solutions.· Support the Reliability Engineering Manager as they work with the SiteSafety department & Site Leadership to implement, record and audit safety andstatutory compliance programs to provide a safe working environment for allstaff.· Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to providea high level of equipment availability to our internal customers.· Ensure sufficient technical coverage is available for the shifts they own byorganizing and directing the training program for the team.· Organize local projects or support EU level projects as assigned by themanager.· Be prepared to work on shift to maintain a strong connection to the team anddaily work.A UK Higher National Diploma (HND), Higher National Certificate (HNC), Ieng,CEng or ILM L4+Relevant experience as part of a maintenance team in an industrial orproduction environment that handles a variety of complex business processesRelevant experience in managing people in an engineering teamRelevant experience in liaising and managing relationships between a varietyof stakeholders including third-party vendorsAdvanced proficiency in written and spoken English and upper intermediateproficiency in local language ### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience of working with statutory regulations such as compliance checks
and machine safety protocols- Experience in automated equipment, including packaging machinery, sortationand conveyor systems
Experience of using data analysis tools and PLC-based control systems
Experience with project management or Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma processes
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
