Senior Data Scientist - London

A dynamic and innovative start-up in the tech space is seeking their first Senior Data Scientist to join a small, high-growth team. As the first data science hire, you will have full ownership of the data science function, developing and deploying scalable machine learning solutions to drive product growth and business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and deployment of machine learning models
  • Conduct statistical analysis and build predictive models
  • Analyse large datasets with a focus on Time-Series analysis
  • Work with PyTorch, TensorFlow, SQL, and AWS to create scalable solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate insights into business strategies

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years in Data Science with a strong background in statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and Time-Series analysis
  • Proficient in PyTorch, TensorFlow, SQL, and AWS
  • Familiarity with Kotlin or Java (beneficial but not essential)

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in computer vision
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex insights clearly and effectively
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
