We are currently recruiting for a EMEA Specialty Polymers & Resins Sales Manager to be part of the Commercial team, helping grow the sales, margin, and market share in the EMEA region. The role requires delivery against specific sales and margin targets for the Polymers and Resins within the Coatings, Inks and Adhesives market. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this position is accountable for the development of the territory, managing a portfolio of key customers and export markets through effective key account planning. It is crucial to the business that our key customers are managed in a professional, structured manner, with a strong attention to detail. In addition, you will be expected to utilise a consultative sales approach to uncover and convert new business opportunities, developing strong relationships with your customer base, to understand and exploit their changing needs. You will help deliver the overall sales growth plan in Europe, Middle East & Africa; using a team approach and working with other functions in the Commercial team to develop, manage and deliver key commercial initiatives. About you: Extensive experience in a lead sales role is essential, as is working and delivering in a variety of different cultures. Ideally you will have experience in the Chemical industry. The delivery of the strategy will require demonstration of project management skills and previous commercial experience. We are looking for a professional individual with drive and enthusiasm, who is able to quickly convert opportunities into long term sales. The travel demands of the role are relatively high, coupled with a requirement to act independently when in the field. Language skills are not a pre-requisite but would be advantageous.
