This food manufacturing site is looking for a Maintenance Manager that is keen to develop their career with a strong mentor in place -the Head of engineering is able to provide support and guidance in the role. This site is a growing company and committed to quality products and a sustainable supply chain.
As Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for a small team on this busy and thriving manufacturing site. Driving when needed, coaching, motivating and above all - communicating clearly. Lead and inspire a team of maintenance engineers, providing direction, training and development opportunities to ensure they perform at their best.
Maintenance strategy: Develop and implement the maintenance strategy including preventative programs to maximise machinery efficiency.
To track and manage maintenance activities, and ensure all PPM is scheduled through the CMMS.
Budget Management: Create and manage maintenance budgets including costings, resource allocation and procurement of spare parts.
Equipment Reliability - working with Production, Planning, Logistics and Hygiene to improve reliability and performance of equipment. Drive CI initiatives to optimize maintenance processes and reduce cost.
Proven experience in maintenance management in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
Strong leadership and people management with a focus on team development.
Proficiency in CMMS and a good understanding of planned and preventative maintenance.
Safety first approach to all maintenance work undertaken on site.
