Ingenii Search are currently seeking a highly motivated Head of QA to lead a dynamic team in the biopharma industry. As the Head of QA, you will be responsible for driving the testing best practices. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the QA function and inspiring teams.   • Lead, mentor, and empower a team of QA professionals working within their scrum teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Define clear roles and responsibilities within the QA team, promote professional development opportunities, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Develop comprehensive manual testing strategies, test plans, and test cases to validate software functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Evaluate, implement, and oversee automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency, scalability, and reliability (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestComplete).
  • Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline to support continuous integration, deployment, and delivery of software solutions.
  • Manage the risk to avoid the need to test.
Experience:
  • Experience in quality assurance or software testing roles within the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare IT industry
  • Profound understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, quality assurance principles, and regulatory standards applicable to the biopharmaceutical sector.
  • Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing techniques, tools, and frameworks, with hands-on experience in test automation scripting (e.g., Python, Java).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functional teams.
  • Experience with software validation, risk management, and regulatory compliance in a regulated environment.
