Engineer – Cornish Orchards
Are you a hands-on Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Do you enjoy solving problems, driving continuous improvement, and making a real impact on site performance? We’re looking for a talented Engineer to join our team and ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our site. You’ll play a key role in maintaining our equipment, supporting site projects, and driving improvement initiatives—all while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across Mechanical, Electrical, and IT/OT disciplines.
Troubleshooting and solving engineering/manufacturing challenges using proven techniques.
Supporting site development and the execution of capital projects.
Managing and prioritising maintenance activities with a strong focus on EHS, Food Safety, and production.
Controlling engineering spares stock and helping reduce utility costs through continuous improvement.
Ensuring compliance with health & safety, legal standards, calibrations, and safe systems of work.
Maintaining 5S standards in the workshop and wider plant.
Keeping accurate, timely records and supporting engineering audits.
Engineering qualifications/experience – ideally in FMCG or the drinks industry.
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP desirable) and confidence with Excel.
