We are currently searching for a Senior Planner for one of Europe’s fastest growing general contractors in the mission critical and life sciences sectors. They are currently going through a healthy growth phase and with that, are looking to bolster their site team for a brand new data centre project in Oxfordshire.
The ideal candidate will be someone that is career ambitious and is comfortable working on mission critical projects with values in excess of £200m. In terms of experience, someone coming from a pharmaceutical or mission critical background is advantageous however candidates from other construction sectors will be considered. Project delivery ability, proven track record, detail driven personality and forward-thinking mindset is crucial.
You will be working for a market leading contractor that operates a diverse business model and demands modern health and safety and employee engagement practises.
Involvement with Site Team in all aspects of project planning, programming and progress monitoring, including information flow, procurement, and site works.
To liaise with the Client, subcontractors, suppliers, and designers on all matters relating to planning and attend and contribute to site meetings and other associated meetings.
Provide the planning service on tenders and projects
Attend pre-contract meetings to explain the planning aspects of the contract.
Monitor and prepare a progress report on the project programme.
Maintain look ahead programmes and advise on implications to both Client & Project Team.
Consider and discuss alternatives with the Project Manager.
5+ Years Project Planning experience with a Main Contractor
~ Previous Data Centre/Life Sciences/Mission Critical project experience is beneficial
