Onsite role - NPD Process Technologist Experience of NPD or Food/Beverage production from a process standpoint needed
You'll have a minimum of one years' experience with food products, and be comfortable with NPD trials, taste testing and food development
You'll be joining a team of just over 1500 people UK wide, in a business which has been consistently growing for the last few years. The products are household names and I can guarantee you've probably eaten something from their range in the last 12 months...
This role is the pivot point, between the ideas of food creation... and the actual physical creation itself. It'll need someone with meticulous standards, and keen eye for detail and someone comfortable with ensuring the absolute best quality of product development in the market
The food you'll be involved with is the 'creme de la creme' products and these are sold through all of the major retailer multiples. Think of the best memories you'd have at birthday parties as a kid... and you're almost there...
You'll be:
Leading trials and experiments using brand new tech and processes - ensuring the end result is exactly what was agreed
Working really closely with the whole NPD team to ensure products are hitting taste and presentation markers
Work on schemes to scale up operations right across the product range... always thinking how we can increase output, whilst maintaining high standards
Onsite with the production team ensuring standards are high and your guidance is being followed when it comes to production best practice, in relation to product outcome
A wizz at documentation and meticulous when it comes to recording and testing ingredients
It's essential that you're coming from a background within food manufacturing from a previous role. Any experience with testing and trials would be a huge advantage also.
Unfortunately this employer isn't able to employ any candidates requiring working visas at this time, and the role will be entirely onsite due to the nature of the requirements.
