Commercial Acquisitions Manager

Role overview:

  • In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the expansion of their property portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Identifying and acquiring new sites
  • Managing and reviewing leases
  • Overseeing insurance, business rates, council tax, and rent payments
  • Collaborating with other departments to meet growth targets through acquisitions
  • Providing high-level technical advice on property management
  • Creating presentations, reports, and analysis
  • Liaising with external stakeholders such as local councils and fire authorities
  • Negotiating and managing central service contracts

Who we're looking for:

  • MRICS qualification
  • A degree in a property-related field
  • Retail experience, either in agency or from a tenant's perspective
  • Willingness to travel nationally, with occasional overnight stays
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of communicating effectively with colleagues at all levels
  • Attention to detail and diligence
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly with MS Office suite

This role would suit a candidate with a Chartered Surveyor and 2 years post study experience.
