Their Talent and Development (T&D) team works globally to enable the business to achieve its strategic goals by developing, embedding, and enhancing learning and practices that support employee performance, growth, and engagement.
About the Role - The T&D team is seeking a VP, Leadership Development to be responsible for the oversight, creation, and execution of leadership programming, in conjunction with the Global Head of Talent & Development. This role is an integral part of the Talent & Development team and will be charged with the ownership of a portfolio of leadership programs. This individual will be expected to lead, design, implement, manage, facilitate, and evaluate the Firm’s leadership development programming, as well as continually level-up program elements for greater impact. The VP, Leadership Development will need to stay aligned with the firm’s goals in collaboration with the global T&D Leadership team, as well as our Line of Business (LOB) and HR stakeholders. This role requires that one be passionate about leadership development, experienced in both designing and facilitating flagship programming, knowledgeable in assessment tools, leadership frameworks & philosophies, collaborative, always learning, and results oriented.
Design, implement, and manage a portfolio of high-impact leadership development programs that elevate leadership capabilities and aligns with our clients Talent Strategies needed to achieve their strategic goals.
Oversee program management including working with Program Managers and Coordinators to ensure on time execution that is high quality and within budget (i.e., Establish mechanisms and metrics to assess the effectiveness of leadership development programs, and continuously iterate for improvement, making evidence-based enhancements that strengthen learning outcomes.
Stay abreast of current research and trends in the learning/leadership development space and drive a learning culture through innovative solutions.
Ensure the design and implementation of effective components that are executed before, during and after live learning events, to optimize the impact of holistic development experiences.
Ensure alignment with and act as a back-up for VP, Early Career Development and VP, Functional Development, co-creating, designing, and leading enterprise initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, graduate/Master’s degree desirable.
~15+ years of experience in HR or Leadership roles required with proven experience in program management, design, and delivery of global leadership development programs.
~ Strong understanding of executive development and experience facilitating one- to five-day flagship programming required.
~ A passion for live, in-person facilitation.
~ Ability to draw upon a wide variety of techniques to ensure engagement, knowledge transfer, and skill development take place in a measurable way.
~ A proven track record of successfully working as a business partner with a senior management team, building trusting and effective relationships with leaders across the enterprise preferred.
~ Intellectual curiosity and inclusive leadership with a passion for continuous learning and development.
~ Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to analyze and present data effectively.
~ Expected travel 10-25%
