Our Housing Capital Programme team spearheads improvement projects to enhance living standards across our properties, ensuring they meet modern standards and regulatory requirements. We are currently seeking a skilled Housing Capital Programme Contract Manager to join our team and contribute to our mission.

Deliver Excellence: Oversee the execution of Housing Capital Programme contracts to achieve Council objectives while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. Projects include retrofitting, compliance upgrades, and enhancing living conditions for residents.

Implement and monitor performance targets for assigned Capital Programmes, managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to budgetary and timeline constraints.

Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with tenants, residents, and elected officials, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout project lifecycles.

Financial Management: Manage project budgets effectively, overseeing procurement activities to ensure cost-effective delivery of required works within budgetary constraints.

Strategic Planning: Contribute to business planning, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery standards.

Prioritize the health and safety of residents and workers, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices throughout project execution.

Knowledge: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of construction practices, building contracts, health and safety regulations, and project management methodologies.

Working Conditions: Respond to emergencies and attend meetings with stakeholders as required, occasionally outside normal office hours.
