Global Law Firm Environmental Law Senior Associate 4+ PQE London
This global law firm has lawyers located in more than 40 countries, with over 90 offices, throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific. Clients range from multinational, Global 1000, and Fortune 500 enterprises, start-ups, public sector bodies and governments.
The firm regularly helps blue-chip sponsors and portfolios companies operating in the mid-market on acquisitions, sale processes and investment deals, both domestic and cross-border in nature.
The firm’s Environment team has extensive experience handling a broad-range of work across the UK and Europe, in particular.
The team’s lawyers are highly experienced in handling the environmental, health & Safety aspects of complex transactions, disputes and large-scale projects, with a particular focus in the offshore energy, natural resources, chemical and tech sectors. They act for developers, operators, lenders, private equity investors and others in the development, disposal, acquisition, financing and/or decommissioning of power stations and related infrastructure, wind, solar, biomass, bioliquids and biofuels facilities, oil refineries, petrochemicals facilities, mines, paper mills, manufacturing facilities, landfill sites, waste transfer stations and recycling plants.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years’ experience in environmental law gained at a highly regarded practice in London. You will be adept at advisory, transactional, and contentious matters surrounding all aspects of environmental law, acting for clients such as those listed above.
