This is a full-time role for an Electrical Estimator at Quartzelec Limited located in Hamilton. The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for estimating costs, managing expenses, coordinating electrical contracts, and providing expertise in electrical engineering. We are seeking an Electrical Estimator to engage with our client base and provide competitive cost solutions for the installation on a variety of HV/LV electrical systems.
(HV experience preferable but not essential, as training would be provided).

Electrical Estimating, Cost Control, and Electrical Contracting skills
Proficiency in Electricity and Electrical Engineering
Experience in estimating electrical project costs accurately
An excellent understanding and knowledge of installation of HV/LV Electrical, testing/ inspection and remedials as well as Building Services installations (HV experience preferable but not essential, training would be provided)
Affinity for tender status monitoring and networking, being an analytical thinker with a problem-solving approach
Resilient, tenacious, and Independent with commercial awareness and ability to provide client requested breakdowns and tender analysis.
A solid, verifiable technical background within the Electrical Contracting sector. (Good computer skills, Microsoft office, projects, etc. CAD preferable but not essential
Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines

Estimating HV/LV installations in the corporate, renewables and general industrial/commercial contracting environment
The ability to accurately cost the construction and asset replacement projects on a variety of HV/LV systems.
Commercial awareness and ability to provide client requested breakdowns and tender analysis.
Based on 39 hours per week Monday to Friday out of our Hamilton office, we offer a very competitive salary plus a company car / car allowance.
