Prospero Teaching are currently seeking motivated and resilient Teaching Assistants for Secondary Schools (KS3/KS4) located in Dorset and surrounding areas (BCP)
The position is open to all experienced those you have a background in youth work, sports coaching, support work or have any other experience of mentoring children and young adults. You will be supporting students one-to-one or in small groups with their learning, as well as supporting the classroom teacher in their duties. You will be supporting students with autism, learning difficulties, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs.
We have a range of fantastic schools looking for passionate Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated teaching teams. Contract Details for the Teaching Assistant role:
· Location: Dorset and BCP · Position: SEN Teaching Assistant · Start date: ASAP/September 2024 · Contract type: Temporary/Permanent · Full-time, Part-Time & Flexible options available # · Minimum rate of pay: Experience, Training and Qualifications required for the Teaching Assistant role:
· Previous experience working with children and young people, although this is not essential providing you have the right attitude and desire · Pro-active attitude in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities · A passion for supporting children with autism & complex needs · You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students
To be eligible as a Teaching Assistant role through Prospero Teaching you must:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK · Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application · Provide two professional child related references
