Part-time to Full-time Virtual Assistant

The starting salary is £30,450, which includes allowances totalling £2,841.*
*The salary is broken down as £27,609 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £29,676 Plus, a location allowance of £1,841 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.*

Keeping our fleet in good condition takes a skilled and dedicated team. As a Resource Fleet Assistant, you’ll work with a wide range of high spec vehicles in a varied hands-on role.
It’s important that these vehicles are ready whenever they’re needed, so you’ll be conducting under-bonnet checks, inspecting equipment and recording key data such as mileage readings.
You’ll also be responsible for collecting and delivering vehicles to our maintainers who repair and service them. That means you’ll be driving cars and other vehicles to various locations.
To join us, you need to be professional and team-focused, with a valid UK driving licence. With a keen eye for detail, you’ll take pride in maintaining our fleet to the highest standards.
*Conduct maintenance checks e.g. under-bonnet checks on engine oil, coolant and windscreen washer fluid levels etc.
* Liaise closely with the vehicle maintainer to schedule maintenance and track the progress of vehicles undergoing repair or servicing and ensure their prompt return to operational duty. When a vehicle is returned to service, inspect it and ensure that it is being returned in an acceptable condition prior to completing delivery documentation.
* Examine, when available but at least once a week, every vehicle’s logbook to ensure the book contains the correct fuel card and report any deficiencies or anomalies.
* Collate vehicle odometer readings, complete the appropriate mileage return form and submit to Fleet Services on the day in question.
