We are instructed by a leading US firm in relation to a junior finance associate lawyer role, specialising in aviation/asset finance. We have previously placed lawyers who work in this team and there is a positive, collegiate environment for the successful candidate to thrive in.

What you will need

  • Training contract undertaken at a reputable firm with ideally at least one seat in banking, finance, aviation finance and/or asset finance
  • Ideally at least 12 months experience post-qualification in a finance law department
  • Strong academics

Experience sought

You will ideally have experience in some or all of the following:

  • Sale and Purchase of aircrafts and aircraft portfolios
  • Domestic and/or cross-border aircraft financings
  • Operating lease financings
  • Tax based leasing structures
  • Capital markets structures
  • Debt restructurings
  • Sale and leaseback structures
  • Export credit financing
