Here at Achieve Hospitality we are delighted to be working with our fantastic property who are based in Lancashire in their search for a Head Housekeeper. About the property: A prestigious Michelin star property that prides itself on delivering exceptional service and unforgettable experiences to their guests. Due to expansion the property are seeking a dedicated and skilled Head Housekeeper to join their team. Role Overview: As the Head Housekeeper, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the property. You will lead a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and equipped to deliver impeccable service. Your attention to detail and passion for excellence will contribute to the overall guest experience, setting the standard for luxury hospitality. Key Responsibilities are but not limited to: Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including room cleaning, laundry, and public area maintenance.

Train, mentor, and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.

Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and identify areas for improvement.

Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.

Collaborate with other departments, such as front office and maintenance, to coordinate guest requests and resolve any issues promptly.

Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests.

Assist in the development of housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements for the role: Proven experience in a housekeeping leadership role within a luxury hotel or similar environment.

Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
