Our client is a specialist reinforced concrete frame contractor based in North London, working on projects across London and the Home Counties within the residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors.
About the role:
Due to the awarding of new projects, our client is looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join their team based in West London. The successful Health and Safety professional will be responsible for covering 2 - 3 projects. As the Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the companies' health and safety policies, preparing method statements, risk assessments, construction phase plans, and undertaking site inspections.
Requirements:
- HSE qualifications such as NEBOSH & IOSH.
- Must have previous experience with an RC Frame and groundworks contractor (main contractor experience would also be considered).
- Experience on civil engineering, demolition, and piling projects would be an advantage.
- Experience on commercial projects.
- Have a robust knowledge of construction and sub-contracting.
- Confident in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
