Uphold all health and safety policies and practices
Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across
You’ll also makesuggestions for long-term improvements.Working alongside senior colleagues, you’ll undertake day-to-day maintenancetasks like painting and plumbing and will liaise with contractors if you needexternal expertise. You’ll work on a range of shifts to make sure our sitesare supported around the clock – allowing Amazon to deliver at the speed we’reknown for.About the teamOur Reliability Maintenance Engineering or RME team keep our equipmentperforming at its best. We work together to maintain,troubleshoot and repair equipment across our global network of fulfilmentcentres. From installing automated packaging systems to overseeing the generalmaintenance of a site to repairing key distribution equipment, our teamhandles most aspects of Amazon’s technical side. We often work during early orlate hours to carry out maintenance with minimal disruption, including nightshifts. Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship andor qualified to aminimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject (City &Guilds Level 3, SVQIVQ)
Relevant experience working in mechanical andor electrical maintenance
Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing
### Experience in condition-based monitoring
Experience working with print and apply machines
