Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and with the support of the People team, this position sits across all areas of the RAD, supporting around 160 employees in the UK, our international offices and a large number of casual workers and freelancers.
The Head of People will be responsible for driving and contributing to a vibrant, diverse, and positive workplace culture by developing and implementing People initiatives across the international organisation. You will oversee all aspects of HR, including full employee lifecycle management, policy definition, HR support, and solidifying talent attraction and retention strategies.
Partnering in a collaborative team, you will be as happy rolling your sleeves up and getting involved in the day to day as much as being the driver of projects on a global scale.
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's core values and growth plans.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding processes.
Oversee compensation, benefits, and employee engagement programs.
Drive performance, development, coaching, career planning, and talent management initiatives.
Support and promote a high-performance culture where teams thrive and grow.
Strategise end-to-end talent acquisition reflecting quality, diversity, and exceptional candidate experience.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain HR best practices knowledge.
Collaborate with leadership on organisational challenges, providing strategic HR insights.
Train managers on employment law and effective people management practices.
Lead and contribute to the RAD's Diversity & Inclusion policy and initiatives.
Has substantial experience at a senior level across the full range of HR practice and proven delivery in an organisation of comparable size and complexity.
Has demonstrable experience of delivering an efficient and effective HR professional service, including use of an HRIS, recruitment, policies and procedures, learning and development and payroll.
Has experience and understanding of tools to support learning and development.
Has experience of financial and budgetary processes.

While time in our accessible London (Wandsworth / Battersea) office will be required, we operate a hybrid model of in-person and remote working.
