Electrical Engineer £45,000 4 on 4 off Day Shifts Responsibilities:

  • The Electrical Engineer must Maintain, service, and repair machinery used in manufacturing.
  • The Electrical Engineer must Minimize production downtime and keep work areas clean.
  • The Electrical Engineer must Perform preventive maintenance as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Manufacturing background is preferred but not required.
  • Completed apprenticeship with at least electrical qualifications.
  • Able to read engineering diagrams and understand control circuits.
  • Experience with DC/AC drives, electrical hoists, and three-phase motors.
  • Familiar with safety and light circuits, inverters, PLC systems, relays, and speed control systems.
  • Skilled in working with sensors.
  • The Electrical Engineer must have Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic control systems is a plus.
  • Mechanical understanding of gearboxes, pumps, and pneumatics is beneficial.
  • Capable of prioritizing and planning tasks under pressure.
  • The Electrical Engineer must Follow health and safety protocols and manual handling procedures
