An excellent opportunity has arisen at a leading Investment bank for Data Privacy Manager based in Newcastle to join a new hub of the team in the UK focusing predominantly on the UK / Ireland and European markets across all entities of the group and all 3 lines of the business. They have offices in London and Newcastle and they are looking for someone to join the team in Newcastle

The global team was previously based out of the US, but they are now building a central hub in London focussed on all regions outside of the US and APAC This is an important and highly visible role within the bank, that presents a fantastic opportunity for the you to make a positive impact by working with all parts of the business on all aspects of privacy compliance.

They are looking for someone who is passionate about Data Privacy and looking to pursue a career within Data Privacy. Ideally someone who is CIPP/E qualified or studying toward this qualification. You will need to have good technical knowledge of data protection laws, regulations and practices in the UK and/or Ireland, and experience of applying these in practice, including communicating with privacy regulators and clients.
