The ideal candidate will be a good all-rounder with a strong background in quantity surveying and a proven track record in managing costs and budgets for similar projects. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for refurbishment and cut and carve projects
- Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective project delivery
- Monitor project progress and financial performance, identifying and addressing any cost variations
- Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement processes
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
