Location: Hybrid working with main office in Manchester
You’ll be joining a close-knit, dedicated team with a first-class reputation within the legal community. We are an APIL Accredited Practice in Manchester, so you will be part of a team of hardworking and highly experienced injury experts who are dedicated to providing a high-quality and understanding service to clients. Due to continued growth, we have an excellent opportunity for a 4-8 year PQE Solicitor to join our team working from home and from our office in Media City, Salford. You will be responsible for supporting the Head of Department and senior fee earners with their high-value multi-track caseloads, whilst also running your own mixed multi-track caseload which will include RTA, EL/PL and some CICA matters subject to experience.
We are seeking applications from candidates who can demonstrate a real interest in catastrophic injury work and possibly some medical negligence. Support the Head of Department, Partners and senior fee earners with progressing high-value multi-track matters whilst also proactively managing own caseload of multi-track matters
Analyse risk and further develop sound judgment enabling the justification of decisions to clients internally and externally
Understand individual role in the context of the practice group and pro-actively seek to contribute to increased efficiency in developing a caseload appropriate to level of technical, and legal knowledge
Build working relationships internally and externally in order to develop business networks and create a solid understanding of the Firm’s direction and client needs
Academic qualifications in Law and experience within a legal environment
~ Experience working in clinical negligence would be a bonus but not essential
~ An effective communicator both orally and in writing, having a good command of written English
