Reports to: Business Development Director 

Marketing and Media Manager will be a key organizational leader and responsible for the development and management of a comprehensive marketing strategy for Woking FC. This position will supervise multiple university work placements, managing the functions of marketing, community engagement, media relations, social media, digital media and content. The Marketing and Media Manager will also oversee match presentation and develop a cohesive Brand Theme each season.

Build, Develop, and Execute a strategy to bring the Woking FC brand to life through integrated strategies across multiple platforms including digital and social media, advertising, promotions, live events, and marketing the selling of individual game tickets for all 23 Woking FC League matches and Cup / Trophy ties. 
Ability to help construct, control and manage a marketing budget.
Work closely with the Business Development Director on building campaigns to support venue hire, food & beverage and all non-football events.
Execute, or cause to be executed, social media content across all five channels.
Develop marketing plans on shared organizational goals to accomplish organizational business objectives and goals. 
Oversee the creation of an annual marketing and promotional calendar.
Develop campaigns in support of our ticket sales and promotional strategy, including the development of a game-by-game individual game ticket sales goal plan. 
Oversee/execute creative functions to ensure the Woking FC brand is properly represented in all internal and external uses, including email, print, digital, advertising, and in-stadium.
Oversee, update and lead the execution of brand guidelines and style guides.
Shared administrative duties, including front-of-house reception and customer service including in-person and phone answering.

Strategic thinker with the ability to develop, delegate, and execute plans, as well as assessing the long-term implications of decision-making. 
Demonstrate a proven ability to display a high level of attention to detail and process-oriented organizational skills to prioritize projects and implement new systems. 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Innovative and creative thinker, who can contribute ideas and participate in cross-departmental efforts throughout our organization. 
Collaborate with the Corporate Partnerships team to ensure fulfilment and integration of corporate partners into marketing, advertising, and promotional initiatives.
Actively participate in partner asset creation discussions and advise on how best to utilize assets to expand our marketing message
Ensure Woking FC brand messaging is on-point across all communication outlets.

A minimum of three years of related Marketing and Public Relations experience.
Applicants must have relevant experience in a professional or semi-professional sports environment, or relevant experience managing a brand portfolio.
Language Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical, visual and / or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
