Nursery Assistant Start date: June 2024 Location: Newport Salary: Minimum £108 per day Do you enjoy supporting children and developing children? Do you have a Level 2 Childcare qualification? TeacherActive are looking for a candidate willing to learn Welsh to work within a Welsh Speaking Nursery in the Newport area We are looking for a Level 2 Childcare qualified Welsh Speaking NA / Nursery Assistant to work in a Welsh speaking Nursery in the Newport area. The posiiton is full time, working 4/5 days a week. This is a permanent position for the right candidate. This is a great chance to gain an abundance of experience to add to your CPD and keep everyday exciting. The ideal NA / Nursery Assistant should have the following: At least Level 2 or 3 qualified in Childcare 6 months experience working with children Be a fluent Welsh speaker A calm, patient and caring persona Good communication skills A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines The successful Nursery Assistant will be paid £12-13 per hour All of our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.
