Position Overview:

Join a dynamic electrical engineering team as an experienced Project Manager. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for managing and coordinating all on-street multi-site electrical activities, which will include electrical testing, inspecting & commissioning, condition reporting, and reactive electrical repair works.

Responsibilities & Duties

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing a small team of highway electricians and electrical contractors.
  • Monitoring productivity, performance, and skills.
  • Ensuring work meets program requirements and deadlines.
  • Overseeing electrical orders and tracking performance against KPIs.
  • Managing on-street compliance of electrical operations.
  • Ensuring activities follow Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) and promote a strong health and safety culture.
  • Providing daily advice and support to highway electricians.
  • Ensuring all work complies with NICEIC & NERS accreditation.
  • Understanding the electrical needs of various asset types.
  • Conducting site visits to ensure work meets regulations and legislation.
  • Adjusting to accommodate ad-hoc project requirements.

  • Proficient with MS Office .

Qualifications and Experience

You should have:

  • 2+ years of project management experience.
  • Preferably, experience with street lighting or electrical highway work.
  • Strong personal management skills.
  • Good knowledge of:
    • 2391-52 Level 3 Award Electrical Inspection & Testing
    • Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition)
    • G39 + 214 Safe Isolation
  • A valid driving license.
