Operations Shift Manager

Are you experienced in driving operational efficiency within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment? Do you have extensive experience as a production manager within FMCG? Are you an organised leader with people and process at the forefront of your mind? MacGregor Black is partnering with a leading food business on the search for a Shift Operations Manager. This is a perm role based in West Midlands. Key Responsibilities: Drive performance of your team and support functions to deliver efficiency. Seek out new and innovative ways to deal with production issues, utilizing CI techniques. Ensure compliance with all site Health and Safety Regulations Execute the shift training plan to improve performance / flexibility and organise any additional training through gap analysis that may be required. What We're Looking For: Minimum 3 years leading teams within a fast-paced food or beverage manufacturing environment e.g. multiple SKUs, product changeovers, packaging variants etc. Understands how KPIs are developed, and a track record of achieving results and ‘raising the bar’.Must be familiar with Production Performance Measurements. Strong management skills and an ability to operate and make decisions under pressure, whilst having your team at the forefront of your mind. Must be people orientated. A proven track record of close working relationships with all operational functions and an appreciation of what each function is required to achieve in order to execute the plan.
