As a Senior RME Technician,youll help us stay one step ahead, adopting the latest technologies andidentifying new and efficient ways of working. In this role, you’ll pay closeattention to our processes to help maintain our high standards, and you’ll putin place upgrades to take that standard even higher. Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering or RME team keep our equipmentperforming at its best. We work together to maintain,troubleshoot and repair equipment across our global network of fulfilmentcentres. From installing automated packaging systems to overseeing the generalmaintenance of a site to repairing key distribution equipment, our teamhandles most aspects of Amazon’s technical side. We often work during early orlate hours to carry out maintenance with minimal disruption, including nightshifts. Shift Pattern: This role includes working in non-traditional shift pattern,which may include nights and weekendsKey job responsibilitiesDemonstrate best practice on using equipment safely and monitor teams toensure everyone follows the correct processesKeep track of equipment performance through visual checks, condition-basedmonitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks and schedule additionalservicing when requiredSupervise technicians on shift to support their development and act as thefirst point of contact for Reliability Maintenance EngineersSolve issues in equipment to reduce downtime for operations so they canprocess packages as quickly as possibleSupport in finding ways to continually improve systems and standardiseprocesses across the EU network ### BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Apprentice trained with HNC, HND, NVQ level 3Relevant experience in a technical leadership roleRelevant experience working in both electrical and mechanical disciplinesRelevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environmentsAdvanced proficiency in verbal and written local language and basicproficiency in English ### PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
