Flannery Plant Hire is a leading provider of plant hire and specialist attachments to the construction industry across the UK and Ireland. With a comprehensive fleet of innovative machinery, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and meeting our clients' project requirements.

The Category Buyer will play a crucial role in managing and controlling inventory levels of parts and components essential for our operations. Maintain accurate records of all parts and components in inventory, being the point of contact for all part enquiries.

* Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary parts and components according to demand forecasts and fitter schedules. Receive incoming parts shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for quality and accuracy. Generate regular reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and inventory performance metrics. Provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization and cost reduction.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, and procurement to ensure seamless operations and timely availability of parts.

Previous purchase experience within a construction or heavy equipment company

* Good IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
