Overview Transform a Multi-Site UK Manufacturing Group Through AI A fast-growing UK manufacturing group is embarking on a major digital and AI transformation across multiple sites, covering manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, and back-office operations. We are now hiring a hands-on AI Implementation Manager to drive this change. This role is ideal for someone who is not just strategic, but who builds, implements, and embeds AI solutions directly into real operations. This role is paying £Negotiable salary dependant on experience and background The Opportunity You will: Identify high-value AI and automation opportunities across the group Design and deploy practical AI solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making Modernise processes across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, sales, and admin Build reusable AI tools, frameworks, and prompt libraries Lift data quality and help prepare the business for cloud-based analytics Lead training, change adoption, and build AI capability across all sites Ensure responsible, ethical, and compliant AI deployment Track impact through clear KPIs, ROI, and operational improvements This role directly supports a 3-year AI transformation plan , including the creation of an internal AI Centre of Excellence and establishing a culture of digital fluency across the group. What We’re Looking For Experience delivering AI or digital transformation within manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, or similar operational environments Hands-on familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, computer vision, predictive modelling, automation platforms) Understanding of data structures, APIs, integrations, and enterprise systems Ability to convert business problems into workable AI solutions Strong communication skills — able to explain complex tech in simple terms Proven record of delivering measurable improvements through automation or AI Curious, proactive, and comfortable working at pace across multiple sites Desirable: experience with ERP systems, RPA, predictive analytics, digital twins, BI tools, or formal AI/data qualifications.
