S&B Herba Foods Ltd are food importers, processors and market leaders in supplying the Manufacturing, Wholesale, Ethnic and Retail Sectors. We are part of the Ebro Foods Group, the largest Rice Company with a truly global presence. We are entering exciting times in terms of the Company's development. We are looking for an energetic, results driven Sales Manager with at least 5 years' experience and a proven track record in the UK food manufacturing industry.
The role entails helping us build the sales of our growing range of rice and rice based ingredients, as well as an expanding range of Functional Ingredients focused on Healthy Eating sectors and markets.
Sales Manager Job Overview:
Reporting to the Commercial Director the role would be to operate as a company leader, overseeing day-to-day operations and focusing on the long-term strategy of the Ingredients Division's business.
This role will play an important role in maximising business opportunities whilst continuing to manage a portfolio of strategic key accounts and leading the Ingredients Sales Team's activities and communication. This role would work closely with S&OP, Supply Chain, Production and Procurement to advance service levels and the overall customer experience. As a key leadership role the Sales Manager would be expected to assist in developing and implementing the Ingredients Division's commercial strategy along with other matters relating to S&B Herba's overall business operational effectiveness.
We are looking to recruit a Sales Manager, with the following responsibilities and skills set.
Sales Manager - Industrial Job Responsibilities:
Leading and Developing Existing Sales Team to continue growing our Ingredients Business within the UK food manufacturing industry sector
Continue to drive sales of the Ebro Group's full portfolio of Ingredient Solutions to designated account portfolio
Continually look for opportunities in all areas to grow the business profitably
Assist Commercial Director and work as a key member of a cohesive team
Analyse sales data and other reports that give insight into how S&B Herba can make adjustments to improve performance
Business Graduate with extensive sales and account management experience
Great People Management skills with experience leading, motivating and developing a team of Account Managers
Strong sales, strategic and negotiation skills to make sound commercial decisions
Strong networking and influencing skills at all levels
An understanding of food science is desirable due to technical nature of some ingredients sold
