Job Description

We are looking for an energetic and motivated lecturer to join our team on a freelance basis to guild our learns through our CIOB Chartered Membership Programme, with a focus on Management.

The role will involve a mixture of work, including lecturing at the weekend online via Zoom and assisting with revision sessions to help build learners confidence before they take the CIOB CMP exam.

A strong candidate will have a background in the construction industry and be able to bring their real-world experience to the learners, having worked on a variety of projects, good verbal and written skills and a consistent work ethic. The main aim of our courses is to build our learners confidence so they can progress to become a Chartered member of the CIOB.

This will be a freelance position. Work can be completed from the comfort of your own home, with interactions taking place via Zoom.

Key Responsibilities:

- Running 2 hours lectures at the weekend.

- Running revision sessions.

- Answering student queries.

- Reviewing and editing lecture slides as needed.

Key Requirements: 

- Hold relevant academic qualification ideally to degree level or equivalent and be a fellow/chartered Member of the CIOB.

- Be happy to work at the weekends.

- Experience of at least 10 years within the construction industry.

- A positive can-do attitude.

- Be open-minded and able to adapt to any challenges which may arise.
