Your new role: As a Senior Electrical Engineer, youll play a crucial role in our client team, enjoying a significant level of independence. Additionally, you should possess leadership skills to oversee and mentor junior team members in electrical engineering aspects of projects. Your key duties will encompass:

Experience & Qualifications: Our client seek candidates with a degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering, ideally chartered or working towards it. Consideration will also be given to candidates with an HNC or HND paired with appropriate design experience.
  • You should have a minimum of 3-4 years of post-qualification experience in building services design.
  • Experience in software design utilising the Microsoft suite, Relux/Dialux, Amtech, and Revit is preferred.
  • Familiarity with British and European Standards, Building Regulations, and HTM's would be advantageous.
  • Professional membership in organisations such as CIBSE or IET is desirable.
  • A solid grasp of HV/LV systems and integration of embedded generation is required.
  • An understanding of and ability to specify various renewable technologies is essential.
  • Working knowledge of BREEAM is beneficial.
  • An appreciation of mechanical engineering to effectively contribute to interdisciplinary meetings is valued.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are necessary.
  • A strong eagerness to learn and develop new skills is essential.
