Insight Global is seeking a Mid-Level Business Analyst specialising in Asset and Configuration Management. The main function of this Business Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification and daily functional support. The role will focus on creating or updating Asset and Configuration management processes, understand and communicate how asset's should be governed, and utilizing the ITIL processes. There is also an expectation that the person successful for this role will be a mentor to our Junior Business Analysts.

This would be an initial 6 month contract (inside IR35); reporting onsite 2 days a week.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
  • Evaluate the current process and/or gaps for new requests and turn them into meaningful features to be delivered
  • Gather potential areas for improvement and identify the processes change
  • Produce User Acceptance Criteria for Control Tower deliverables
  • Collaborate with the Control Tower Product Owner and Asset and Configuration Management Process Owner to ensure changes are effective

Qualifications/Experience

  • Strong Asset and Configuration management knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment
  • Ability to create business solutions that increase competitive advantage
  • Project management skills to handle diverse projects, often simultaneously and meet aggressive deadlines
  • Ability to solve technical problems, processes and understand complex details
  • A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level
  • Ability to analyse complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions
