The role:

Due to continued growth, a new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented organisational design development HR professional. As the People Manager, you will reporting to and support the HR Director you will be responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of the people strategy ensuring growth objectives are achieved by people management and development.

Day to day duties will include but not limited to:

  • Annual strategic planning, agreement and implementation
  • Review and implement a people strategy which aligns with growth objectives
  • Review, implement and maintain a wellbeing and engagement strategy
  • Manage regular internal and external communications
  • Implement and manage personal development plans and ensure training targets are met
  • Design, write and deliver training and development programmes to include soft skills and management training
  • Undertake skills analysis, job and people profiling and succession planning activities
  • Develop, introduce and manage the training academy
  • Work towards and achieving accreditations to include Investors in People
  • Ensure all compliance objectives are met
  • Generalist HR advice and support

Skills, experience and qualifications required:

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Genuine interest and passion for people development and engagement
  • Skilled in design and delivery of training
  • Outgoing friendly personality with strong team skills
  • Highly motivated
  • Confident in dealing with people of all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure
