We are recruiting for a reputable and growing manufacturer who are expanding and looking for a reliable and dedicated Mechanical Team Leader / Mechanical Maintenance Team Leader, either discipline considered (mechanical or multi skilled) to work within their fast moving manufacturing environment.
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, your role is to join and manage a Pro-Active Team of 3 Mechanical Maintenance Engineers in a hands on capacity, coordinating and completing Planned Preventative Maintenance and Project work covering the 4 factories.
The role is 90% proactive, working across the 4 factories and their machinery during their weekly planned shut-downs to carry out, complete and report on all planned preventative maintenance and project work. Always ensure safe working, with a right first time every time by everyone attitude, to produce a cost effective, quality product whilst adhering to the Company's policies and procedures.
Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship and/or hold relevant engineering qualifications in Mechanical or Multi Skilled Engineering
* Management of a team of Engineers, in such position including but not limited to Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisory or Maintenance Team Leader in a hands-on capacity
* Computer literate and can completely reports on works carried out, completed and any issues encountered etc.
* Any experience of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanical drive systems and general factory / plant maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment is required.
* Exposure and promotion of Health & Safety is essential and preferably with a relevant qualification e.g.
