Crane Engineer

£Our client is seeking an experienced Crane Engineer to join their dynamic team and established leading crane hire business that services clients across the UK.
Primarily working within the workshop function, you will be tasked with carrying out repairs to the crane fleet, you will also be tasked with carrying out rigging & derigging of the companys cranes.
The ideal candidate would have experience of working with cranes. The candidate will have the ability to carry out repairs on mechanic, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults on mobile cranes, mobiletower, crawler cranes.

Performance servicing, maintenance on plant in the workshop & yard as required.
Assist workshop staff with preventative maintenance and servicing for all cranes and plant.
Be lead engineer for the rigging/derigging of hydraulic lattice and telescopic cranes across the UK.
Accurately maintain service records for each asset detailing all faults, repairs, service dates etc.
Be flexible to work away from home with occasional extended hours to assist with rigging/derigging, this may involve occasional weekend working.
Previous experience maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing faults with mechanical & hydraulic machinery.
A knowledge of the assembly & disassembly of machinery, plant and/or equipment.
Ability to diagnose common errors/faults with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on mobile cranes, crawler cranes.
Ability to carry out repairs on mechanic, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
