We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Payroll Administrator. You will report to the Group Payroll Manager and will assist with the end-to-end payroll function for our 1,300 weekly and monthly paid employees.
The key responsibilities of the Senior Payroll Administrator include, but are not limited to:
Timely and accurate end-to-end processing of payroll including; starters/ leavers, journals, month end, year end, wage arrestment’s, holiday calculations, pension payments, resolving pay queries and dealing with external agencies including HMRC.
Ensure legal compliance across all payrolls and function, ensuring implementation of effective controls and procedures.
Continuous improvement of all payroll processes.
Administration of pension schemes and salary sacrifice schemes.


The key skills and qualities of the Senior Payroll Administrator are:
Excellent knowledge of UK/ Scottish payroll legislation.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Strong and proven organisational and planning skills.
Formal payroll qualification preferred but not essential.
