The Detailed Draughtsperson is responsible for producing a high standard of general arrangements and layout drawings to standard engineering practice, detailed drawings for manufacture, including producing detailed material profiles for CNC laser cutting
Our ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering qualification or demonstrable experience. They will have a sound knowledge of fabricating, welding, and machining processes along with a good understanding of materials handling equipment, from both technical and manufacturing aspects, (screw conveyors, mixers, belt conveying, metering feeders, discharging aids)

Candidates are required to have excellent 2D (essential) & 3D (desirable) draughting skills whilst the ability to interpret P&ID drawings would be advantageous.

Interpreting contract documentation and specifications ensuring that technical drawings are produced in accordance with industry regulations and project specifications
Taking part in production/project review meetings to ensure timescales are adhered to
Producing a high standard of 2D detailed drawings to enable engineering tradespersons to manufacture machined and fabricated parts
Liaising with sales, project teams and management
Meeting and improving costs where applicable and feasible using recognised cost analysis methods
You will be self-motivated with a desire to set high standards of work performance for yourself and others.
