Teacher of English: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join on our our schools in Telford. This role is due to start in September and would be a one year contract, four days a week. The ideal candidate will inspire and educate students in the English language, literature, and writing skills. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet academic standards
  • Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking skills
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school administration
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in English or Education; Master's degree is a plus
  • Teaching certification (QTS)
  • Strong knowledge of English language, literature, and composition
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Patience and understanding when working with students of diverse backgrounds
  • Proficiency in educational technology tools for virtual or in-person instruction
