The role is an interim vacancy from January onwards. As an Interim IT Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the school's ICT provision. Working onsite Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00, you will:
Manage and maintain software, hardware, and ICT consumables.
Support the school's ICT network, ensuring data security, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
Provide ICT training and support to staff, learners, and parents.
Promote safe and innovative use of ICT, particularly around the internet and social media use.
Liaise with central ICT teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective ICT services.
GCSEs (including English and Maths) and relevant ICT qualifications/training.
Have an Enhanced DBS (we can get one pending)
Experience troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
Strong knowledge of managing school ICT networks, including data backup and recovery.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate inventories.
