We’re supporting our client, a leading plastics manufacturer based in Liverpool, who are looking for a Quality Engineer or a Quality Supervisor to join their growing team. The successful Quality professional will have experience within the manufacturing / production environment,

An established manufacturer of plastic components for various sectors (including automotive and construction) who are looking for an experienced quality engineer / Quality Supervisor to join their business. Its working day shift Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.

Responsibilities for Quality Engineer/ Supervisor:

* Maintain and develop the Quality Management System in line with ISO9001 requirements.

* Generate process related documentation including work instructions, quality alerts, PFMEA’s, control plans etc.

* Develop and report on COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) within business.

* Oversee customer and internally driven engineering changes.

* Supervise and lead a team of 3 shift QC personnel.

* Flexible approach

* Working knowledge of core quality tools including FMEA, APQP, SPC, MSA & PPAP

* Commercial awareness

* Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

* Sage Accounts / Sage Manufacturing (not essential)
