The Assistant Manager will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness. This role is crucial in creating a positive dining experience for guests while managing staff and resources efficiently.
Responsibilities of the role are but not limited to:
  • Oversee restaurant service operations
  • Collaborate with the General Manager
  • Address customer requests
  • Ensure smooth service at all times
  • Lead and manage a team of over 20 people
  • Supervise daily operations
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Monitor team efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and orderly restaurant environment
  • Manage maintenance requests
  • Work with the booking system
  • Execute opening and closing procedures
  • Handle cash and card transactions
  • Control inventory and stock
  • Manage schedules and control costs
  • Fully operate the restaurant in the GM's absence
Requirements of the role are :
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work day and night shifts
  • Willingness to work overtime when required
