Job Description

What will you be doing?

As a Electrical Design Engineer , you will join Kemble team to support our activities within the Aerospace sector.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Implementing design modifications of aircraft electrical systems for a Major Aerospace Organisation.
  • Responsible for drafting and installing the electrical wiring systems, harnesses, and power distribution systems on the aircraft.
  • Analysing and troubleshooting different electrical sub-systems on the aircraft.
  • Using Electrical Design Software and Tools to produce detailed wiring system drawings for the aircraft.
  • Strong comprehension of design/aircraft electrical system documentation

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience in Electrical Design, using tools such as AutoCAD, CREO, or Siemens NX.
  • Strong comprehension of design/aircraft electrical system documentation with the ability to share and convey this knowledge.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electrical engineering, avionics engineering, or related field
  • Solid experience in PDS engineering in the aviation or equivalent industry
  • Knowledge of A/C regulations, standards, and guidelines such as [AMC 20-21], [AMC 20-22], and [AMC 20-23].
  • Proficiency in software and tools for PDS design and development.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
